San Antonio – A pod of PETA supporters will make a splash at SeaWorld on Saturday to alert potential parkgoers that the abusement park’s anniversary represents 60 lengthy years of animal struggling. The protesters will level out that greater than 40 orcas and over 500 different dolphins and whales have died—many prematurely—in SeaWorld’s barren concrete tanks and that dolphins in its breeding applications are sexually abused and typically drugged to allow them to’t struggle again.

The place:    Outdoors SeaWorld, 10500 SeaWorld Dr., San Antonio

When:    Saturday, March 23, 10 a.m.

“Sixty years of imprisoning dolphins, orcas, and different marine mammals in cramped concrete tanks and depriving them of every little thing that’s pure and essential to them is a trigger for disgrace, not celebration,” says PETA Govt Vice President Tracy Reiman. “PETA urges everybody to shun this exploitative hellhole till it lastly releases these long-suffering animals to seaside sanctuaries.”

PETA—whose motto reads, partially, that “animals will not be ours to make use of for leisure”—factors out that Each Animal Is Somebody and presents free Empathy Kits for individuals who want a lesson in kindness.
