LONDON — Selfridges is embracing British humor with a brand new idea at its The Nook Store.
The Joke Store pokes enjoyable at vogue cliches and is in on the snort till March 30 within the London retailer.
On the store ground, prospects can get in on the joke via buying gadgets that characteristic components of comedy, from slogan T-shirts and fart cushions to vogue gadgets designed by the likes of Adam Jones, Corrina Goutas, Judith Leiber, Puppets and Puppets, Anya Hindmarch and Cowboys of Behavior.

Gadgets begin at 99 pence on the store ground to extravagantly priced items that some might discover offensive or laughable.

In February, Martine Rose took over the Selfridges Nook Store along with her debut assortment for Clarks because the model’s first-ever visitor artistic director.
The experiential pop-up area had been reworked right into a sequence of nostalgic bedrooms by set designer Polly Philp known as “Coming Up Roses.”
